Candlelight Service and Snow Play
Bring the whole family and experience the wonder of Christmas on Tuesday, December 23 at 6 PM — a casual and cozy candlelight service filled with singing Christmas songs and special kids programming for kids age 0-6th grade. Be sure to stay after service for sledding, hot cocoa, and roasting marshmallows over a fire.
Birch Street Kids Bubbling with Joy Christmas Celebration
Kids Kindergarten-6th grade are invited to a special bubble themed Christmas celebration filled with bubble crafts, bubble games, and bubble play, all happening during the adult Candlelight Services. It’s a joyful, hands-on way for kids to experience the wonder of Jesus’ birth.
Nursery and toddler classrooms will also be open and fully staffed for childcare during the Candlelight service.
And don’t rush off—stick around after the service for sledding in real snow, cozy hot cocoa, and tasty s’mores. A magical Christmas night for the whole family!

Kids Christmas Performance
Experience the joy of children coming together to praise God with their sweet voices! Your little ones are about to kick off the Christmas season with their heartwarming voices at our Kids Christmas Performance.
Ages 2.5–Kindergarten will perform at the beginning of the service.
1st–6th grade will perform at the end of the service.
Students Christmas Lights and Hot Cocoa
Students 7th-12th grade, come enjoy some hot cocoa while we walk around Eagle Hills to look at Christmas Lights!
Family Service
Get ready for family service! Kids 1st grade and up will stay with their families in the sanctuary for the entire service. When children see adults singing, praying, as well as listening to God's word being proclaimed, they will have a greater understanding of the greatness of God and a greater desire to stay in the church as adults.
Kidscare will be available for the entire service for kids age 0-Kindergarten.
Students' Turkey Bowl
Join us for a night of turkey-bowling fun with other Friends churches in the area! We will be bowling frozen turkeys to see who can strike it big! Bring a friend and $5 in cash. Food and drinks will be included! Register online to let us know that you are coming.
Worship Night
Join us for a night of praise and worship! Kidscare provided for kids age 0-3rd grade.
Family Meeting
Join us for our annual Birch Street Family Meeting. After sharing a potluck lunch together on the patio, Tyler will highlight God’s many blessings from the past year and look ahead to 2026. Bring a side, salad, or dessert to share. The main dish will be provided.
Holiday Service Opportunity

Men's Retreat
Join us for a weekend in the mountains growing closer to God and each other. We will be staying at a conference center in Twin Peaks near Arrowhead Lake and will spend our days hiking, enjoying recreation time on the field, gathering for worship, eating and so much more. This is a great time to get to know the other men in the church.
